Delta has introduced a series of high-power panel mount power supplies, including the existing PMR Series’ expanded 1,500 W model, and the new PMS Series’ 750 W, 1,200 W, and 2,500 W models. They feature optional 24 V / 48 V voltage outputs and supports peak power, ideal for equipment that require extremely high instantaneous power when activating, including collaborative robots (cobots), motor drive and other inductive-load applications. They also have active current sharing to automatically adjust output power for parallel-connected power supplies. This would prevent the overloading issue that results in overheating or operation termination of power supplies, enabling stable operation for high-power automated industrial equipment.
The PMR Series 1,500 W model and PMS Series panel mount power supplies have built-in active PFC, which reduces unnecessary power loss and waste heat, lower damage of harmonic distortion, and ensure a stable power source. They also feature high efficiency, high power density, and compact design to be save more space for control cabinets. Their intelligent fan speed control ensures efficient cooling while maintaining low acoustic noise, suitable for end-user applications such as medical environments and retail sales.
The PMS Series conforms to the PMBus® communication protocol for real-time monitoring and remote control, ensuring instant warning for abnormal operation. Both the PMS and PMR Series are certified to international safety standards such as IEC/ EN/ UL 62368-1 for audio/video, information, and communication technology equipment, ensuring a safe operation for IT equipment. They also comply with SEMI F47, making them suitable for critical factory automation processes and semiconductor equipment.
