Frequently Asked Questions
What is RoHS, and do Delta Standard Power Supplies comply with RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU?
RoHS
(Restriction of Hazardous Substances) regulatory authorities are
introducing ways to reduce the environmental impact and potential hazard
of wastes from electrical equipment. The European directive on RoHS
holds electrical and electronic equipment companies directly
responsible for the chemical compliance of their products. Delta
Standard Power Supplies conform to the strict standards and extensive
documentation control for electrical and electronics products sold in
the EU. RoHS
calls for the products to only contain the maximum concentration values
by weight in homogeneous materials at 0.1% of lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and 0.01% of cadmium above the legal threshold.
