Delta adds the MEA-160A to its high performance medical adapter MEA Series, which delivers 160 W output power. The new model bridges the gap between the existing 90 W and 250 W adapters, offering healthcare providers flexible applications of various medical equipment, including portable ultrasound, portable IVD, patient monitors, and medical displays.
The MEA-160A model features up to 93% efficiency, meeting DoE Level VI, VII and CoC Tier 2 standards to reduce energy consumption and operational costs. With 65 x 150 x 32 mm (2.56 x 5.9 x 1.26 in) compact size and up to 8.4 W/inch³ power density, the MEA-160A is an ideal choice for limited installation space. This model also offers 12 V, 15 V, 19 V, and 24 V voltage output options to be compatible with various medical devices.
The MEA-160A complies with 2 x MOPP insulation standard and low leakage current (<0.1mA) to ensure safety of users. It also has a DC-OK LED indicator to provide real-time warning for when emergency occurs. The model is also certified with major approvals, including IEC/ EN/ CSA 60601-1 for medical and IEC/ UL 62368-1 for audio, video, and IT equipment. The MEA-160A’s CE, UKCA, PSE and CCC standard conformity ensures global regulatory compliance and reliable operation in diverse healthcare settings.
